Great idea Number One

Making flowers from recycled quilts. And you would not have to use old quilts: just dig into your stash.

Great Idea Number Two

Carla and I saw a quilt at the Lewis County Fair last week that had a great back.  The quilter had used a lovely floral border print that was manufactured to make children's skirts and dresses.  You know the kind:  a pretty, summery print where the pattern changes about 10 inches from the edges to form a natural border.  Margie, you would have loved it.  And no piecing required.
