Hand Piecing...Part 1

We ran short of time during last month's program and I was a bit rattled that night. So here are the instructions for drafting the Maple Leaf block, for making templates for the block, and for cutting fabric for the block. Just click on this link: Hand Piecing-Part one

I was really confused that night about how the block gets put together. So you will note some changes and I stand corrected.

If you have time to cut your own fabric pieces before Thursday night, bring them along with hand sewing supplies: a needle, thread, a thimble (if you use one), scissors, and straight pins. If you are not able to cut any fabric, bring those sewing supplies and your template pieces, a lead pencil, fabric scissors and a piece of sandpaper.
