March Guild Meeting

The program for the March 15, 2007 meeting will feature former guild member Diane Germann. Diane will be teaching us how to do paper piecing. You know, how to create those fabulous little blocks with unbelievable accuracy by sewing strips to paper patterns, then flipping, sewing, trimming, and sewing. Or do you flip first, then sew? Or is it trim, sew, and then flip? Help!
Good thing Diane will be talking with us next week!

Diane will be bringing kits for each of us and we'll have several machines set up so that everyone who wants to sew can get started. If you want to bring your own machine that would be terrific!
Also bring sewing thread, scissors, and anything else you find necessary when machine piecing.

It promises to be informative and fun. See you all there.

What a surprise this morning to come across your weblog! I think it's a terrific idea to post your guild notes where others can view the activities, along with giving a little exposure to the work of your guild.

I live in Hancock County and am a new member of the guild there.
